Unlike previous years the first round will not be played at the Cottage.  Please agree a date with your opponents and play your match by the date indicated (the first named pair takes the responsibility of arranging the match).  Matches will be played over 24 hands (players may, by mutual consent, play a different number of hands but the total should be a multiple of four).  Vulnerability is as the standatd EBU scorecard.  Scoring is as in duplicate bridge.  The scores are totalled and the winning pair is the one with the higher plus score.
