Congratulations to Joan Benton for winning the Stanley Trophy
After the success of the recent Improvers Course, there may be another in 2009 (see link). The top scores were Joan (35 points), Pat Dunham (34), Don James (28), Geoff Haywood (28) and Maggie Bennett (27) The AGM will take place at The Cottage on Monday 20 July, followed by bridge (no partner required). We are an EBU club playing duplicate bridge. We welcome all standards of players and run three sessions a week. PLAYING TIMES Monday: 6:50pm to10 pm - duplicate bridge, partner available via a host system. Wednesday: 1.30pm to 4.00pm - casual bridge and learning circle, no partner required Thursday: 6:50pm to 10:15pm - duplicate bridge, partner required, EBU master points awarded VENUE The Cottage St Helens Courtyard Ashby-de-la-Zouch LE65 1AA Map CONTACT
NEW MEMBERS New members will be made very welcome. No partner is required for the Wednesday afternoon sessions. For new members wanting a partner for the Monday evening sessions a partner will be available via the Host system. For Thursdays, you need to come with a partner. LEAGUE TEAM We play in the Leicestershire County League and the team is in Division 2. The current league standings can be checked at Leicestershire County League Tables. FEES Members pay an annual fee of £5 payable on or after 1 July. Members also pay a fee of £1.50 per session.
